>>19254249It was proven that a computer systems are much better able to solve all these tests better than humans can, because it's just a silly game of
"spot the resonance in the transforms" which fucking scooby do mystery computers can see a billion patterns per second and look at all of them and ah jeez rick the one of maximum resonance is this.
"A calculator can do math faster than you".
I'm not a fan of the belief that people who can do these puzzles really well are smarter than the rest, instead, it's like people who are really good at solving rubiks cubes or solving suduku puzzles at light speed.
If you practice you can get good, but you have to think in patterns and numbers. Then when you see it you can say: "aha, I can see the hidden pattern and the hidden transform".
Ability to find those is a "G" in intelligence, however, it's a loose kind of G, which means you're able to imagine, check, then track in towards patterns.
Computers can do all that a bajillioni times faster, properly coded. Where ravens has the most information gain for intelligence, is when the groundpounders cross the atlantic and take the test, and can't even do the simplest ones like "rotate this L shape in your mind counterclockwise and flip it so the foot of the L shape is pointing at you, turning it into a line.
it's good at mathematically separating out the 65 to 95IQ's from the hundred IQ's but when it gets to elite levels like this you're scratching at the false song of: "People who play chess well, are smarter than those who don't". Which is not strictly correct.
