There was a place called Windover Bog in Florida where multiple ancient bodies were found well preserved, along with the oldest know textile fabrics that had ever been found in all of North America. The carbon dating that was done showed that they were between 7000-8000 years old. Samples of the brain tissue were taken from 5 bodies for DNA analysis, and the lab was specifically looking for Native American haplogroups in the DNA. None of the 5 samples showed Native American haplogroups, and upon further reexamination, it was found that the first and second samples of DNA looked European. The 3rd, 4th, and 5th samples were slightly different from the first 2, but also looked European.
