to make a 3D animation it's much more difficult than click a few times -> make model -> pose it -> hit render as I innitially thought
you need to be proficient in so many areas and skills and master specific workflows instead of just drawing™
you can work on a project for many hours and encounter weird specific errors that may take ages to fix or be unfixable at all
recently I managed to figure out forkflows that circumvent issues I was raging about earlier but it was through trial and error and took a lot of time
it also all depends on the tool you use and all it's quirks which you have to learn
and don't get me started with making procedural smart materials and geometry nodes (you legit need to know linear algebra to get good at it) and all the bullshit people need to deal with during rigging
tl;dr 3D is hard
