>>19290100tragic, but at least it still gets you drunk. i once found a $5.50 bottle of wine that had an amazingly wet, juicy, and narcotic drunken feel to it. i loved the taste especially because it was real rich for it's price point. not extremely deep and complex, or whatever, but damn, for $5.50, it put an impression on me. i never buy the same wine until i found this bottle.
also, i hate seeing those plastic corks. idc if there's a benefit to using them, they feel cheap and give me an instant bad impression of a wine when i pull that bitch out. i'm always open minded, but damn, it sits as a canary in a coal mine for me.
this week, i was spoiled with another bottle of liquor from the iberian peninsula. it's some amontillado, and i can't stop staring at how pretty the hue of the bottle is. i keep all of my wine bottles after reading about an alcoholic from /r9k/, who, in drunken reverie, would simply take the time to indulge in the beauty of his glass collection. i found it really beautiful, and it gave me a real appreciation for the bottles i drink.
