Averages 4 c/kWh. November was 4 and december was 12c/kwh on average. Got hourly changing rate, so I can adjust consumption if it goes high.
Also getting paid for solar energy -except for november-february

Americans get 240V to the house but it's split into 120V for most appliances. Out dryers and ovens use 240V.
Theoretically you could install a 240V outlet in the kitchen for a gay yuropoor kettle but there's no point if you don't drink tea.

Most devices already work with 240v, and all US houses already have 240v at the panel. It's redoing all the outlets and the branch circuits to be phase-to-phase that's the expensive part.

Pretty sure the vast majority of appliances would get shrekt if you supplied 240v if it's only rated for 120v. I know variable voltage power supplies are a thing, but I'm pretty sure they are the exception rather than the rule, especially in the case of older equipment.

A lot of heat escapes when using gas stoves. About 20-40% of the energy makes it into your pan/kettle on a stove. For boiling water an electric kettle reigns supreme with an efficiency of about 80-85%. Boiling water this way is cheaper and a lot faster.
Cooking on an induction stove will also be faster than on gas, but likely not as efficient when it comes to cost.
