I keep seeing this weighted blanket meme but I don't get it. Even if it's to simulate human contact (pathetic) I can only imagine it being supremely uncomfortable.

Before I got a weighted blanket, I would literally put a 22 pound dumbbell on top of a pillow over my bed so I could fall asleep.
Usually I find I didn't need this if I do some kind of jogging before going to bed but I can't do that every night
