But even then, I know, especially in this day and age, her kids from another dad would never truly respect me unless of course I helped to raise them very early on in their upbringing.
But divorced? Heck no. Here's something a ton of people who claim to be Christian don't even follow correctly despite what Christ said. Christ says in the bible while alive in the flesh, that Moses allowed them to marry again after divorce because of the hardness of their hearts, but anyone who divorces for any other reason besides adultery commits adultery. He also said if anyone gets divorced, they should remain alone if the two of them can not reconcile and get back together. For what the Father has joined together(in marriage and marital sex) should not be separated by any person.
Because of the corruption of the institution of religions that claim to represent Christianity, the amount of people in breach of this are countless.
