It's similar to Molly I'm pretty sure and alot of people used to do "mollywater" here like the club type people you take a bottle and it just looks like you brought a water to the club but it is filled with amphetamines. Now that you mention it I did see that on breaking bad. It could be an astetic too much the shows title card and it's easy to film people smoking casually then get there needles all prepped up every time they want to do a scene with meth.
