It was an action done willingly but from then on it was done on children on the 8th day without their choice so it doesnt offer any salvation henceforth.

No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people, but from God.” – Romans 2:28-29
Says Paul, and it is known that religious tradition isnt going to being you into heaven and it requires a "circumcision of the heart" aka allowing God into your heart to cut away your sinful behaviours and allow yourself to transform and soften your heart to the glory of God.
