How do you kill the bacteria that cause tooth decay?

No.19411817 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Most dentists will tell you that sugar kills your teeth and that if you remove it from your diet your teeth will never get cavities. The truth is quite the opposite. There are certain bacteria in your mouth that feed on sugar and release acids that kill your teeth. If you don't have those bacteria in the first place, you can eat as much sugar as you want, never brush and retain your teeth until you die. For example:

My father is almost 70, brushes once a week, never flosses and eats sugar every day. He never had one single cavity in his life. Not one tooth extraction, not one root canal. All his teeth. Mother on the other hand brushes every day, has bridges, root canals, extractions. It doesn't matter what she does, her teeth are destined to die.

Has any anon here found a way to kill these fucking bacteria. From a small research I found that xylitol gum kills them slowly and that if you chew it for every day for months they will go extinct. Is this accurate? Enjoying sugar, chocolate, baklava and all these wonderful dessert every once in a while without worrying should be every man's right
