Freedom of speech operates under the notion that a person may say what they have to say, and not be met with systematized retribution and limitation of life and liberty, and this is by government, but also by "majority"
When leftists claim something is not censorship, because a government is not doing it, but instead corporations, or social ostracism, this is still censorship and a violation of life and liberty.
