Kettlebells: Based or cringe?

I'm not talking about the high-rep low-weight CrossFit faggotry, but rather low-rep, high weight stuff, like what you would do with normal weights. I've been doing floor presses, squats and bent over rows with these things and think I am getting pretty strong. Their instability really force you to work hard to keep them stable during reps, unlike traditional dumbbells.

For some reason, many based people hate kettlebells, probably because of their association with CrossFit fags. So, what's the official /pol/ position, 'tards? Should I lose these things and get a weight bench, or not?
