Well he would obviously correspond with Christ and Set, but the interesting thing is Christianity seems to have flipped the role of the serpent. Gnostics identified Christ with the serpent in the garden, and both Lucifer and Christ are associated with the morning star.

Interestingly, the same deity seems to have existed in Central America. Queztalcoatl was a human deity, depicted as a bearded white guy, who banned human sacrifice (before a dark cloud came and brought it back), also a deity who died and rose again after spending 3 days in the underworld. Also associated with the serpent and the morning star. He was worshipped in the 1st century, then wasn’t mentioned for ~700 years til he came back in the 8th century (refer to https://www.unz.com/article/how-fake-is-roman-antiquity/ for explanation). Later on he became an Aztec deity. The Aztecs used mushrooms to tell the future, and the mushroom visions told them that on a specific day of a specific year, Quetzalcoatl would come back. Sure enough, on that day, the Spanish came bringing Christ to the new world.

The Mormons believe that there were ancient Israelites in America (confirmed by Bat Creek stone and other findings) and even that there were apparitions of Christ in Central America right after his crucifixion. They believe however that about 300 years after Christ, the pure blood Jews in America all got wiped out and eaten by mixed race Jews (Aztecs? Dark cloud?). If you line this up with the corrected timeline presented in the Unz article, it seems this happened right around the time of the big Roman collapse (which would have been the end of pre-Columbus contact between New and Old World)

Way to miss the point, I’m not saying anything about their retarded “revelation” is true but Joseph Smith used the idea because it was commonly speculated in 1800s America that some Native tribes might descend from Jews. Many of the American natives practiced circumcision and had oral histories that were very similar to Old Testament stories.

I think you're looking for connections that are just bullshit. Dionysus (Bacchus) is an energy, yes. It has a duality to it. It can bring great joy, but also sorrow... just like BOOZE! Also the myth of him being destroyed and coming back is just a metaphor of the grapevine, you silly Brazilian! You harvest the grapes, they're mashed into mush (peices), and fermented... but they become one again, as wine! Dionysus, dies and comes back in other ways too... like the vine! Cut it back, each fall, reap the harvest with CARE (worship?).

Both Zoroastrianism and Mithraism arose in Persia, which was the enemy of Rome. Btw Jews were a product of one of the first unified Aryan empires of Persia. Persian religion that split from Vedism into Zoroastrianism. The Indo-Iranian tribes were likely united and shared a common culture but a religious schism occurred.

In the Vedas, Indra is described as a slayer of evil. He drinks Soma, which is milk, and cannibis. In Hellenistic times the Greeks equated the Jewish messiah or Yahweh as Typhon because it was their equivalent of a destroyer god, which in the prophesy leaves Egypt on a donkey and returns on one, hence why Jesus returns on a donkey, it was a message to the rabbis that he was the messiah.
However since Jews were expecting a destroyer god themselves that would destroy their enemies they ended up rejecting Jesus.

So as per the Greeks, Romans and Jews alike the Jewish messiah was coming to defeat the former and send them Tartarus, and when they all found out that it wasn't the case the Jews turned against Jesus and the Grecoromans accepted him.
