I think it was a fair call. Conor was obviously gassed, and probably would have lost either way. Yeah, he might have made a comeback, but not likely. In the end it was the best for both Mcgregor and Mayweather.

...you get the point now? Boxing isn't MMA and McGregor was done fighting. Arms drooping and unstable stance. It was over that moment. The next 2 rounds after that would of cause serious damage.

Exactly it was his rookie fight and it was a hell of a one to.

McGregor should of studied older Mayweather fights. He always measures fighters in the first 2 rounds. Then he runs you tired the following rounds, lastly he uses his energy to out match larger fighters on the inside with his stored energy.

Great job regardless. I knew and Mayweather knew those bigger gloves would tire McGregor faster then he would expect.

I'm glad it wasn't a messy fight.

No doubt but this fight disproves that MMA is the same as boxing punch trades. MMA is a completely different animal, boxing is all endurance and focus. MMA seems to be all about tactics.

Yeah I think that McGregor could have gone more, but he was shit tired at this point, and there was no way he was winning. Perhaps we could have got a few more rounds of entertainment, but it was in the best interests of the fighters.
