Many dont see how lust is a sin if you hurt no one. Let's take for example wrath.
When wrathful you cannot think properly, youre illogical and dangerous. That's why, taking offense (Matt 5.39) and offending others (Matt 5.22) is a sin. You hurt their Reason, their ability to understand Truth. In other words, you hurt their ability to know God. It makes you stressed and intruduces cognitive distorsions to your subconscious. We know that stress can lead to a decrease in synaptic density in the prefrontal cortex. Sin will literally make you dumber.
The same can be said of every other deadly sin.
We know cooming can shrink your brain in a non-dissimilar way, and via cross-sensitization it will affect every other area of your life by affecting your self-control. Sex exists for procreation. This in undebatable. Everything else is opinion. All sex divorced from its function is bad for you. Just like overbreathing, overeating, or overdrinking. I can't force you, but be aware of the consequences of your actions.
