It doesn't have to be relevant in any way, no, rather the opposite. He wants to post something else. He wants to post something no one else in that thread were expecting to see, something which took the attention away from the topic. It doesn't have to be funny, it doesn't have to be clever or original. It just has to be annoying, uninteresting and simple to spam.. Ah.. A plan begins to form in his mind. Yes, this must be it.

And at this chapter in your life, you're supposed to hear a record scratch sound and experience a short moment of time where it seems like everything stands still. Your own voice will appear from out of nowhere, and you'll hear yourself say something like this:

Anon, I don't know you, and I know our conversation here is a
of no importance to anything or anyone beyond this thread and this fleeting moment. But I still ask you, please think of this as an honest question.
When you think back to the things that led you to this point in your life, there must have been a moment that defined your relationship with anime. There must be some point in your life when the scales tipped. An explanation for why normal reasoning went out the window and you developed this irrational behavioural response to this topic in particular.
