Its perfect the way it is, it doens't need to be "elevated", and trying to elevate it takes away from its simplicity. Brioche i think also has a sweet after taste you don't really need. As for the lettuce and tomato, i think you may feel differently if you saw how i prep them. My tomatoes are paper thin, and my lettuce is shredded. I soak the lettuce in salt water (which you should do with anything from the garden you plan to eat whole just to clean it) and when it dries it keeps that residual salt flavor. I think we're mostly on the same page though.
DESU i'm not sure why my burgers are so good. I've tested it by switching things out, using different fat percentages, buns, ect. Theres just something perfect in the simplicity that comes through no matter what you do.
