"Heterosexuality", the term used to distinguish attraction between male and female.

Let us start from observing things from a purely biological and perhaps evolutionary biology and psychology point of view.

The male attraction to a female is driven by male pattern sexuality. This is largely visual (physical) stimuli and to some extent other stimuli such as olfaction and etc, but on a relatively lesser scale. This is largely proven by the fact that men view porn on a larger and more frequent basis. Of course the sex difference in viewing porn has apparently been lessening in recent times due to a multitude of reasons both environmental and sociological.
The female attraction to a male is driven by female pattern sexuality. In contrast to male sexuality, this is largely driven by emotion and feeling and less outright physical tangible things. This is why women tend to fantasize vs. simply viewing pornography and masturbating. Of course females are viewed as being attracted to "fit, strong males" which is true. This is simply an evolutionary biology/psychological behaviour and historically the more physically fit and capable the male was, the more succesful they were. It is also more subject to change with hormonal variation. This explains the attraction to the both "dadbod" along with the "jock" phenotype.

Of course, these are large scale patterns and an individual could easily be an outlier. But most humans are not outliers.
