I kind of get the impression that an asian gf is probably the closest you're going to get, generally speaking, to the idea of a "normal" gf and a loving relationship. Like, it's probably a lot easier to be honest and open around her vs a white gf. It feels easier to find an asian gf that actually loves me. The catch though is that I think this only works with "westernized" asians. Third-world asians only want you for your provider potential and the Japanese simply think you're kind of exotic, trophy material.
Personally I'd prefer a white gf because I just think they're more attractive physically, but I feel like there's a lot more red flags you gotta watch out for. For whatever reason it's the educated, liberal, "mid" girls who always have a ridiculous fucking body count, and not the absolute smokeshows. If she's trad she might think you're not enough of a man because of small bullshit (God help you if you date a trad latina, btw, my friend married one, and his life is hell). If she's "normal" she might be dismissive of your interests and generally see you as a minor supporting character in the movie that is her life. If she's mentally ill, she might love you, but she might also scare you a little too.
