>>19544951>early 13c., gentile, gentle "well-born, of noble rank or family," from Old French gentil/jentil "high-born, worthy, noble, of good family; courageous, valiant; fine, good, fair"It's the translation of the Greek "ethnos", ethnics, people, the nations.
Meant are the scattered Israelite nations, the northern house of Israel that was divorced from God, like the Scythians, Greeks, Romans, Celts, Gauls etc. the absolute majority of Israelites were divorced from God at the time of Jesus. They were heathenized, but they once knew God. And then God became a born Israelite man and fulfilled, saved, and re-deemed them. The husband died and then resurrected to re-marry the very same woman with the twelve stars, as is lawful.
"Goy" also means nation. It can refer to Israelite nations or non-Israelite nations, since the word simply means "nation".
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were all called "goy" in the Bible, because the Israelites are a real nation and a company of nations today, as prophesied.
"jews" however are not a real nation, that's why they are not "goy".
>Genesis 18:18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation [goy], and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?>Genesis 25:23 And the LORD said unto her, Two nations [goy] are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.>Genesis 35:11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation [goy] and a company of nations [goy] shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
