Women invent all of these rationalisations, but the truth is that whatever she "feels" in the moment is what her reality is. Unless she's actually autistic, you can expect no adherence to logic or consistency in behaviour, reasoning. It's like a young child having to account for what they've done - whatever they tell you, or even themselves, is a post-rationalisation made to justify the action.
