>>19608729>I dont think we study any other polish authors and we only study history of poland as much as it relates to the history of lithuania which is quite a lot.>one thing to note is that poles here speak a mix of polish and russian that they call po-prostu, and up untill very recently the vast majority of polish minorities supported a russian agent tomashevsky.i guess lithuanians dont really have much contact with actual polish citizens then, makes sense
lithuania barely borders poland as it is and only in the area that's widely regarded as the biggest shithole in poland, basically greater belarus, even if you look at the map it's quite evident that there's going to be more (belo)russian influence than polish, i guess the polish minority is closer culturally to belarus than poland
i cant really speak for others but to me lithuania is still my native soil, i guess the relationship got fucked when we fought the war
it's kind of funny but poles are sort of hated in every country we border
germany is obvious and not getting any better
czechia, slovakia is also obvious especially with the whole revolution intervention
belarus and russia have always been antagonistic towards poland, i guess belarus and part of eastern poland arent that different
ukraine has also been very anti polish for hundreds of years, especially since we genocided each other like 70 years ago
i feel hungarians canadians americans and australians usually feel pretty good about poles and maybe french but englishmen also dont like us that much, lithuania is at best netural but probably the nation that hates poles the most is poland herself
oh i guess italy and japan also had historically good relations with poland but in europe it always felt to me like the only people that dont loathe poles are hungarians
