I played on and off from 04-13. I am not exaggerating when I say that I unironically love that game.
I vividly remember the first walk from lumby to varrock while "autumn voyage" played. THe definition of SOUL. I remember the first time i equipped full addy, full rune. I remember scamming in the West bank of Varrock with FREE GEM CUTTING and FREE ARMOR TRIMMING. I remember in the summer time playing in the morning when the servers reset and all the shop inventories went to full, I would world hop buying up all the death runes in the shop in Port Sarim, then go to world 1 and sell them for a profit. Remember my first dscimmy. I remember the fally riots when they banned wildy and getting banned for spamming "flash2: JAGEX MUNCH MY BUTTHOLE!" I remember being really happy when I discovered that the word "douche" was not censored by their language filter, so I could call people douches.Then eventually my first santa, green/blue/red h'ween, party hats. I remember giving away my santa to a random player when I quit after the fally riots (I came back a year later for another few years of playing but it was towards the end of my career).
I love that fucking game. 07 ain't the same which is why I never bothered. No game ever made me feel that MAGIC and never will again.
