I probably have about 500 hours in now. Wife stopped at 400. The game is sloooooow..... but often in a way that feels relaxing. There's so much goddamn content there is no way to get everything even in 3 playthroughs.
Tip: you can change any character into any class. Just pick 2 people you like, then take your main character and make sure the 3 of you can do everything needed (talking skills like persuasion, Sleight of Hand skill, talk to animals spell, archery, spellcasting..... healing is meaningless because that's what potions are for).
My current group is my main Warlock with Skill feat, naked shadowheart who is a Ranger, and naked Minthara who is a paladin still.
Then my 4th character is whoever the current quest is for.
