examine the material and ask who is here? what is He doing? why is He doing it? what does it mean?

the soul begins to talk to Christ. express love, thanks, petitions.

thank Christ for any graces received, examine your failings and promise to fix them, determine to hold better conversations with Christ in the future.
I also like to finish with a St. Gertrude prayer for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
