You basically have to accept the fact that you have no control over the world.
That you have no control over others, nature, even most of your own life.
The act of faith is in the phrase , thy will be done.
It's not a matter of lying to yourself or actually believing, people think it's like a child's belief in Santa clause, it isn't.
The faith part is knowing that existence and all that goes along with it is almost completely beyond your control and that there is a force driving the universe.
You have to accept the good and the bad understanding that it's part of something beyond comprehension.
Faith is not easy, but at the end it is all we have.
