but the gnostics infuse lustful interpretations to justify having hour long non-ejaculatory sex with their wives, justifying it with one or two verses in isolation, that could be interpreted that way, but that can not be interpreted that way if viewed as a whole.
but they are blind to this because carnal desires make one blind to the truth and makes one justify all sorts of things.

gnostics also have anthropomorphized the demiurge and given him personhood, when its nothing but an epiphenomenon that comes into being due to the human collective dynamic.
2 brothers having a fist fight is no different than 2 nations having war. the smaller one scales up and takes different form or appearance, but its the same thing.
the demiurge is the personification of the dark side of humanity, which is holding it back.
