hul that's expensive, is that one of those puer cakes? there's some process that takes years to do, that can get pretty expensive. but otherwise it's good for multiple steepings, so it's not as expensive as it seems. let's say the ratio is like 5 grams for 100 ml., you can get multiple steepings out of that, so it's more like 5 grams for 5 cups of 100 ml.
so if 5 grams gets you half a liter, 50 grams gets you 25 liters. there's a pastebin in the tea general on /ck/ with the exact ratios.
i'd practice the workflow on cheap tea first though, because you're bound to fuck it up.
