I was part of a group of people involved in an experiment, without my informed consent. I will not give out too many details to not dox myself, but it was a few years ago in the suburbs of a major city.

The day started out normally as I proceeded to go to (popular place where many people gathered), only it seemed "white, not yellow sun bright" and I was feeling pretty shitty.

When I got to place, my mood suddenly changed and I have never felt anything like it before nor since. It was very much like a combination of being on a combination of Theanine and Excstasy but without the amped up wiry feeling or psychedelic effects. When I got to place, I noticed
>Despite it being an otherwise dreary day and the music selection not being particularly good, EVERYBODY there felt off-the-hook good vibes
>Everybody was super happy in a place that usually had at least several people cranky or arguing at any given moment
>People that normally didn't get along very well were getting along like best friends
>EVERYBODY seemed much "smarter" than usual and was saying very witty things
>EVERYBODY was suddenly a much better comedian than anything you'd see on a comedy special and making all sorts of jokes ranging from cute to completely "get you in trouble with HR" IN FRONT of the subjects of the jokes (LGBT type jokes) and NOBODY got offended but instead just chimed in with so much more humor that pretty soon everybody was laughing nonstop and couldn't stop, like they released laughing gas or something
>People started saying all sorts of cryptic esoteric things like "it's fun to be light-hearted, isn't it anon?"
Basically, it was like a slice of "heaven on earth" and while I noticed some people starting to notice that the sense of humor everyone was expressing was in fact "highly unusual", everybody pretty much rolled with it and some people even commented that
>If the whole world could just feel like this, we'd have world peace in an instant

And then, the troubles began (cont.)
