>>19737587Avoid vaccinations as long as possible. The lack of sleep for the first 6 months sucks. It eventually gets better. By 18 months you will see them develop into a little person, wanting to do some things for themselves, but still entirely dependent on mom and dad. They will be exploring everything as soon as they can move. They will be a wiggly potato for a long while though. Believe in using sleep sacks and keep all toys and blankets out of the crib. They can suffocate very easily and things need to be kept away. Be patient. The crying will stop. It's usually gas, a wet diaper or hunger. They don't understand what you are doing or saying, but they will, and they like your voice. Always have more formula or breast milk ready to go. Do not run out. Nothing feels worse than your child needing you and you being helpless.
It's terrifying, exhausting, expensive, and worth it.
