Yes.

Sometimes it makes me consider how much time I waste. That could've been a good thing, but I never do anything about it. Keeping your mortality in mind is probably useful overall.

Not at all. I don't believe in a God or a superior entity of any form.
I'm just having trouble accepting that one day I'll be dead.
It wouldn't be a problem if I believed in reincarnation or living in paradise. But I can't lie to myself. There's nothing after death. I won't experience nothing, I won't be conscious because I won't exist anymore.
I won't get to see what happens on earth after my death, what happens with my descendents and so on.
It just gets me very sad.
Sometimes at night I have these strong anxiety attacks, like if I have to do something about it.
I don't now, I juts wanted to hear what you guys think.

I get what you're saying, I too have those anxiety attacks when I start trying to concept the idea of an extremely vast amount of time and me being just a little spark that will burn out in an instant.

The best existential drug for me is saying that I won't know it happens, it can happen anytime and when you start dying you won't be sure you will die, and when you do, you won't know it.
I also think, that the state of being dead itself is not so bad, you can't really complain about it, can you?

Just be happy that for this brief little flicker of time in the universe, that you were lucky enough to be aware of your existence in the universe. Nothing on earth besides humans have this ability to understand our universe and realize what is going on around us and experience the true beauty of it. All though it is rather grim that it has to end so quickly, we all got the golden ticket to be able to experience something

Man, I know that. It's not what happens after death what worries me. It's the time until i get there. I'm having a shity time thinking and worrying about my non-existance. I know it'll be like before conception, I'm ok with that. I'm just living like a sad soul all the time thinking about that.

But on the other hand it gives me a reason to live a plentiful life, doing only whatever makes me happy.

The truth is that no one knows what really happens when you die. So, at this point every hypothesis has the same chanche of happening as anything else. Also, don't bother too much with it. Imo if we know what happens in the afterlife it won't change a damn thing on how we behave, so stop thinking about it cause knowing the answer won't change a damn thing.

No. I don't consider that. I refer as me after death just for practical understanding. I, me, my brain, my personality, my memories, everything will be gone. I'll be gone. Theres not gonna be a me, if you like it that way. Just like before I was born. Just like my dog Bobby, it died and disappeared in every form of existance. He is not watching us from somewhere. He just lives in our memories now.

I'm consient that everything we think or process is a result of a very very complex chemical/neurological system. We are just bags of meat and bones with a little more understanding of reality that other animals.

Let's say you will die in two months. And you know that nothing will happen after it, so that's basically the end of all.
What will you do?
