For a finite mind, it is impossible for them to contain all of the possible information about the state of the local universe at each moment, if it is infinitely divisible, and so it would be impossible for them to make the correct decision at each and every moment. So we make subpar choices, but it's our mission to try to get our subpar choices as close to the ideal as possible.
