In 2 months I will be officially be married in Greece to a 19 year old pharmacist student. I am 20 and this is kinda of like an arranged marriage (mostly on her end). She barely speak English and I barely speak Greek and we only saw each other since we were 9, like 2 months in a year, I’m not the most social person and neither is she. Her mother is mostly obsessed with us getting married and it’s probably because she wants her to have a better life in Canada. When I went there, she made us both sit in the back of car while she put weird Greek music and it was the most awkward moment of our life. Then when we arrive at the house, she “ desperately” wants me to see their new TV downstairs in the basement in a bedroom, obviously the girl was right there, she then leaves to go make us food (which didn’t arrive for 3 hours) . We sat on the bed not speaking for those long 3 hours, watching the news. WHAT THE HELL AM I IN FOR?
