There are 24 types of defects BMV and VW spoilers, tailgate panels, bumpers, aeroblades et cetera can have.
Paint run, lack of base, lack of clear, orange peel, damage after paint, damage before paint, cuts,
robot hit, crater, gun spit, mold defect, missing paint, missing part, repaint, inclusions, microblisters, bubbles,
flash, masking, outdent, dent, water spot, mechanical failure, & other(s).
There are various paint colors like Vermont Bronze, Manhattan Green, Brooklyn Gray, Cape York Green Metallic,
Alpine White, Mineral White, Sao Paulo Gelb, Piedmont Red, Toronto Red, Phytonic Blue, Kingfisher, Silverbird,
Mountain Blue Lake, Tanzanite Blue, Arctic Gray, Sophisto Gray, Frozen Pure, & something with Xirallic in its name.
I've mastered sanding out inclusions on flat surfaces like VW spoiler panels then buffing the scuffs away.
I alternate between buffing with my right hand & wiping off the polish using my left.
The sander has disposable quarter-sized or SLIGHTLY larger sanding pads that are on rolls of sticker paper.
The buffer pads have velcro on the back. I prefer the newer stations that have foam sanding horses.
On the left & right ends of the floppy VW panels, there's ridges that make buffing away scuffs there impossible
because if you press the pad down it raises it & the pad bridges over the ridge and the inner panel surface
like a ramp with the scuff in the shadow of the ramp (the buffer pad gets ramped up onto the ridge
and the scuffs get left under the ramped up part of the pad that can't contact the shadow of the ridge).
You can sand the inclusions away there because the sanding discs are about quarter-sized,
leaving scuffs you can't remove for the aforementioned reason.
The buffer pads are probably the diameter of GameCube discs.
