For instance, as an example, I'll never buy a bic or conventional lighter even if I need it. Only buy clipper lighters because you can refill them and replace the flints. Which contributes to less plastic production and less plastic waste. And this isn't some kind of breakthrough technology, but it isn't the standard even though it should be. And its because of people that don't care about planned obsolescence is why it continues and they just go "lmao your just poor"
