Back in the day when he was still young, my grandfather was invited to some wedding, and brought wine as his gift to the newlywed couple.
The guests at the wedding praised the wine and quickly emptied out the barrel, pressuring him to bring another, which he did. As they started drinking again, someone asked what the secret to making wine this good was. Sensing an opportunity to get them to stop from drinking all of his wine, he first replied that it was because of the water he used at the fermentation process, so they asked further -- where did he get that water? He then said:
"Ah, remember that well where the local gypsy threw his wife in to drown her?", causing them all to spit out the wine in horror.
