These men like to think of themselves a nice, trad, honorable, chivalrous, gentlemanly men because they say/do nice things for women, give them attention and gifts, etc. But it's all superficial and fake. They really just want to have sex or get a girlfriend or whatever, and they are only doing those things because they think/hope that it will cause the women to have sex with them or become their girlfriend.
It isn't nice, trad, honorable, chivalrous, or gentlemanly at all. It is the exact opposite.
A truly nice, trad, honorable, chivalrous, or gentlemanly man would do those things for their own sake, because he wants to make the woman happy, and because he feels it is his duty as an honorable, chivalrous man. He wouldn't expect anything in return. He wouldn't get butthurt when the woman doesn't have sex with him or become his girlfriend.
