My ex I’d been friends with since twelve, and had dated briefly once.
I told her not to break up with her husband.
Said I wasn’t going to break up a marriage.
We discussed it for several minutes.
Then she came up with this.
If she leaves him for me and it doesn’t work out between us then she can’t go back to him.
If she stays with him and it works out , great.
If she stays with him and it doesn’t work out then she’ll come knocking on my door.
Last thing she said was she may change her mind and turn up at my home.
Haven't seen her for 25 years.
She’s still married and has 3 kids now.
I feel bad for her husband.
For years I regretted not telling her to leave him.
But kinda glad now.
