Been washing twice a week with Nizzy and have noticed new hair growth and the recession on the one side of the hairline is starting to come back.

Can anyone explain how this is happening?

I believe the hypothetical mechanism of nizoral is that it's killing off microbes that otherwise contribute to minor inflamation of the skin which in turn reduces bloodflow to the hair follicles.

Increasing bloodflow to hair follicles is also the mechanism that minoxidil relies on to my understanding.

Hair loss has many causes one of the being inflammation of the hair follicle due to fungi.

Some types of fungi eat the fat in the sebum produced on the scalp.

Diets that increase sebum like dairy results in more sebum which results in growth of fungi which in turn results in more inflammation.

This inflammation ultimately kills the hair follicle, so using anti-fungal like Nizoral helps.

No one knows exactly how ketoconazole, some say it helps block DHT and others say it increases blood flow to the scalp, two things that are proven to help with hair loss.

It's generally accepted that it does work as a topical treatment though it's less effective than things like finasteride and minoxidil, though you can use it at the same time as these.
Though at 2% concentration you should only use it once a week and leave it in for 10 minutes or so.

If you want some real advice, there are only a few things that work. Nizoral does slightly help. Finasteride/dutasteride, minoxidil with micro needling, platelet rich plasma, and ru58841. Micro needling with a derma roller gets healing growth factors to the scalp and improves absorption of topicals like minoxidil and RU. Light therapy helps for some people as well.

Finasteride and oral minoxidil are the bare minimum you should do if you've got male pattern hairloss. Topical minoxidil works fine but for most people they don't apply it properly especially if they have hair longer than like an inch and most of the foam is just wasted by being absorbed into the hair instead of the scalp.
Microneedling also works however you should not use a derma roller. They can cause scratching and permanent scarring which can have the opposite effect. Either use a stamper or pen. You should only do it at most once a month at 1.5mm depth, if it doesn't prove a problem you can increase the frequency to twice a month and then once a week but never more than this. Always remember to disinfect the needles you use with rubbing alcohol both before and after you use them.
Ketoconazole probably helps but much less than the above. It does not really hurt to use it and it's fairly cheap to use anyway. The oral form works better but shampoo is fine as well as long as it's 2% and you leave it on for long enough to be absorbed into the scalp (which takes around 10 minutes).

PRP works, but it's essentially no different than microneedling. Except it's hundreds of times more expensive.

Low level laser light therapy may also work, but it is again very expensive for what it is.

This has been proven more or less false though. The side effects of drugs like finasteride are miniscule at best and stop shortly after taking the drug, infact because the drugs effectiveness is logarithmic to it's dosage, you can usually cut down on the dosage, get almost the same effect and no side effects. 0.2mg of finasteride a day is almost as effective as 1mg a day, with much less side effects.

It has also been proven finasterides reputation is in large due to the nocebo effect. People are told it will have side effects so they suffer from them.
In one study they had half the people take sugar pills and told them it was finasteride, and the other half took finasteride. Both groups suffered from side effects at almost the exact same rates, simply because they were told there could be side effects.

At least with Ivermectin there were some studies about it in the past before the pandemic. At least with NAC there were years of evidence-based scientific studies revealing its benefits. Chlorine dioxide is a bleaching chemical, regularly used for bleaching wood pulp to make white paper. So calling it "bleach" is an acceptable simplification.
Whoever consumes it in non-trace amounts is going to be very sick and possibly die.

The issue is retards often using it improperly. Too large doses (to the point of literally poisoning themselves, and they claim that ‘it means it’s working’), shitty chlorine dioxide synthesizing (too diluted chlorite, bad pH, less than ideal acid selection), eating stuff that neutralizes the dioxide.
It is no cure-all. It’s a powerful inorganic anti-biotic.
It does have adverse effects. Most notably, it kills everything in your gut, so kiss your gut flora goodbye - probiotics are needed after curation. Long term use fucks up your body in many ways, including some essential hormones. It’s hard on kidneys too.
Properly used, it’s great.
But as said, due to it endangering profits of pharmaceutical companies, it will stay buried.
