Any ideas how to wake up from sleep paralysis? I keep hearing creature noises and a sinster voice laughing at me and saying some intangible things and it terrifies me! All I know is that it happens when I don't get enough sleep.

Ive never had it but I think you have to close your eyes and focus on your breathing. Also isn't it only a few seconds long?

I've had it happen to me a LOT.
Only advice I can offer is don't panic and focus on trying to move. It's happened to me so much that it doesn't really scare me anymore.

Honestly this. I usually only get it when my sleep schedule becomes sporadic, especially if I haven't gotten much sleep in a few days. Usually for me it happens as I'm beginning to fall asleep. I'll find myself "pinned" and unable to move. I used to panic when this happened and it just made it impossible to fall asleep. Eventually I gave up on fighting and began to focus on moving one part at a time until eventually I freed myself without disturbing my ability to actually fall into a real sleep.

I used to get sleep paralysis a lot from OBEs and Lucid dreaming. Recalling my dreams helped me take my mind off things and keeping my eyes closed helped to.i think what helps most is that you realise that you can't be hurt and it is a manifestation subconscious.I actually managed to control my fear and relax myself so I could go back into an OBE or astral projection.

Don't worry, my Ghibli posting friend, it stops being scary when you get used to it. I've had it a few times and I actually find it a very interesting experience desu.
The most interesting one was that time I thought I had woken up from the paralysis but I actually hadn't. You know, like dreaming inside a dream.

Fuck, I do this sometimes as well. Not paralysed, but I'll be dreaming and then wake up in my bed. Except I'm actually still dreaming, then I wake up again.
