They scanned my arm, saw the break, came back the next day and they put it back together, it healed after two months, and it was solved. But even then I'm realizing now how much of a handicap my broken and healed wrist is, despite years of healing and that I was operated on by a wrist and ankle surgeon specialist. Does it mean he's an incompetent lazy bastard? No, he's being paid top dollar to take care of me. It's just that medicine isn't so simple, when not everyone's a doctor isn't it? And like a graphic I'd seen explained, even doctors don't know much, as a PhD of any kind (as demonstrated by this graphic of a circle with a little nipple at the top) is just one tiny point of all DISCOVERED human knowledge combined.
Though I would say your Norwegian doctors are relatively lax. My doctors down here really seemed intent on taking care of me.
