You really should learn the language first, but since you already speak English it's not that important. If you move to Germany and consume lots of German media you'll learn German in a year at most. I personally don't like it here because progress in this country is pretty slow compared to other first world countries. Progress in terms of internet culture, technology and similar things. But I'd certainly say it's better than living in Russia or other eastern European countries. I'm planning on moving to NZ or Australia because it's away from Europe and NA
