Geek shit blew up in big way in the mid-late 00s with stuff that only nerds/geeks were doing, I'm wondering if corps would start mining super niche geek fandoms like furries? Or would they have boundaries? Cos the mainstream interests seems to be dictated more by the companies than actual geeks, so if the mainstream got bored with the usual shit they throw, would companies be willing to exploring "niche" fandoms like the furries and homestuck thing?
