That is the point. The /biz/ email gate is a test run. They are collecting data on the refugees over the course of three months to develop counter measures. The purpose is to understand how anons react to various stressors. Do they choose to register an email? How long do they take to register an email when they do? How do they react to a slow verification process? How does their post style change on the new board? How is their mood? There are more questions of course but those are only a few data points to collect for analysis. They have their psychologists look over the data and send it up the chain. They’ll have many meetings and discussions. Eventually they will come to the determination on running the operation of implementing email gates to more boards and then determine the best time or scrap the operation. What happens when /pol/ is breached? That is what they are trying to determine. The Olympics are soon. Elections are soon.
