>half a pound of pork
>half a pound of beef

mix together in a stand mixer, try not to overmix. you only want to blend everything.
roll meatballs, around the size of a golf ball. should produce a couple dozen. they store for a pretty long time, so they should feed your family for a while.
bake at 400 for about 15 to 20 minutes, until they're browning on the top and no longer soft and mushy, and the baking pan is filled with grease.
fill a large pot with sauce, season however you desire. add some of the grease from the pan, a little milk and butter, and bring the pot to a simmer.
place the meatballs in the pot, and simmer like this for about 5 minutes.
