Will depends on your dimensions. Only way to survive WW3 will be with a full silber plate armor + helmet + shield and a sword.
Not too sure how much it weights (shield is mostly wood anyway), but to be safe let say 600oz.

The level of propaganda is simply unreal. Every single word they used during this (((special report))) have been carefully chosen to make Israel pass as the good guys.
Funny they didn't mention once that this "ultra massive drone attack, largest ever" did zero casualty, and that they were warned in advance, and that it only targeted unmanned facilities such as radars.

Iran couldn't have cucked out more than what they did without risking a civilians' revolt. The iranian politicians literally did the bare minimum to make sure they wouldn't piss off Israel while not looking like massive pussies toward their people (they did).

Yet bombing cities full of civilians in the dead of the night without warning is a justified "retaliation" against a drone attack who did zero victims? Which itself was a retaliation after Israhell bombed a fucking embassy (this alone is an act of war), killed their top general and also killed a bunch of innocent europeans humanitarian aidworkers trying to feed starving gaza's inhabitants in the process just to send a message : "if you feed starving children, we will kill you."

I stopped watching the talmudvision 20 years ago because it was only a bunch of lying kikes, but i never knew it would become this bad. Bad to the point it doesn't have any ground in truth and the good and bad would be twisted in a grotesque mirror image of reality.

I should add that the denarius was originally silver and as the term changed to penny it eventually became a bronze coin. The pennies used to be silver.

I started noticing this about a month or 2 ago. It fluctuates between how much higher they list their "spot" prices but the difference is usually around 15-20. This whole time gold was crabbing at 2380 APMEX had it at $2400. They can easily get the spot but they're adding a markup on the spot price ticker on their websites. I'm surprised nobody called them out on it yet.

yes

most people that buy the fake will never know it's fake
if they do find out it'll be when they go to sell it, probably years later when it's too late to get a refund
a lot of them will be given as gifts or inherited, and the people that wind up with them also won't know they're fake until they go to sell them
If someone does realize they bought a fake, they'll probably be too embarrassed to demand their money back
Most americans are making $25 per hour or more, and most the people buying those coins are probably millionaires. So it may not be worth the time for people to try to get $25 back. A lot of people would just cut the loss and never buy anything on ebay again.

some people know the coins are counterfeits and are buying them as place holders in a date series, examples for education on counterfeits, or to scam other people.

a lot of them are bought to show off how big your stack is... to impress other people. You can put together a million dollar stack for a couple thousand bucks.

also of course this isn't true. Ebay holds funds for 30 days on new accounts. After you get a few sales, they hold your money for 0 days. I regularly get paid before I even ship a coin. The day you pay ebay is the same day they pay me.

so if a scammer makes a couple sales without complaints, they get paid instantly. They can either get those sales organically, or they can purchase their own items from a sock puppet account to get the sales. It's not a big deal to convince ebay that you're a legit seller and get your money paid immediately. The bigger problem is in the event of a dispute ebay or the bank can take the money back out of your account. But that assumes you don't take it out first. Most of these accounts are in china, where basically nothing is going to happen to them if they get caught scamming murricans.

NGC doesn't necessarily standardize terminology, they accept whatever you tell them if they don't know what to call it.

my guess is one user submitted a death commem as "lifetime" and one as death and NGC just printed whatever they said. You could ask NGC, but it's not uncommon for them to be mistaken or just not know. Numista is probably right.

you know way more about these coins than I do though. I'm just guessing because I see NGC and Numista don't seem to agree.

When I submit an extremely rare coin to NGC they don't research it. They just print whatever I tell them to print on the label. There are mistakes in their labels because they don't research rare stuff unless you pay them to.

I'd guess the NGC slabs are mistaken, but I could be wrong about that.

they absolutely don't.

they guarantee the grade of the coin and that's all.

A lot of stuff they grade they've never seen before. They grade my saloon tokens, but they don't have an expert on my saloon tokens on staff. I'm the only expert on the planet for most of them. So they just print whatever I tell them, and don't guarantee the authenticity of the coin or accuracy of the label.
The difference between graded and guaranteed is something collectors know, but the rest of the public may not. PCGS only grades stuff they can guarantee. NGC grades a lot of stuff they can't guarantee as well as some stuff they can.

NGC will actually slab a fake coin if you tell them it's fake. Like if I wanted to get a chink fake ASE slabbed they'd probably do it, but would label it as counterfeit or copy or reproduction or whatever. They'll slab pretty much anything if you pay them. Few minutes ago i won an auction for this 5 Francs Napoleon 1811.
It looks like the reverse have been partially cleaned, and it ends up looking disgusting.
Meanwhile, the obverse seems like it have been entirely cleaned, probably using some basic silver polish.

I'm tempted to finish the job and clean up the remaining of the reverse using a similar polish, to have something with a minimum of harmony. Then maybe once it's done i can artificially tarnish it back (with eggs?) ?

I don't use eggs. I use heat. Blowtorch or oven or gas stove. After cleaning, wipe carefully with alcohol or acetone. Don't touch it except by the rim. Heat slowly until rainbow colors start to form and then stop.

practice on some cheap junk first. It makes beautiful colored toning. Like heating steel for rainbow patina.

yes exactly. Don't go too long or it'll melt the coin.

I don't apply any chemicals, just clean really well with alcohol or acetone. Chemicals ruin the effect. It usually comes out looking like a pride day parade. Sometimes the colors are too bright and I rub some off or leave it out a bit to get darker in the air.

for a natural look I just leave the coin on my desk for a few months and then wipe lightly with silver polish to shine the high spots.

Sounds plausible, after all silver did a super pump back in 2020 who got people hyped, but ever since it's been crabbing for the past 4 years. Meanwhile gold slowly but steadily when up for those 4 years.
People do have a short memory, a big pump hype can only last so long, and truth be told, it's been much more rewarding emotionally to hold gold than silver. Each time you check gold spot you get a nice surprise. With silver it feels more like russian roulette within a $20-30 delta.
On top of that, gold gets a lot of coverage/visibility in medias, but we never see anything said about silver, feels like it has been memoryholed intentionally.

To go back do your lady claims, how many times the past 2 years have we heard anons only focusing on gold and/or wanting to swap their silver to gold the minute the ratio gap close by a notch? At moments i felt like we were only 3-4 anons left still interested with silber while everybody else jumped the gold bandwagon.

That said, personally i stick to fundamentals : silver is just absurdly undervalued and have near infinite potential. Don't care about central bank unilaterally deciding only gold is worth being a store of value.

yeah, federal minimum wage then was around $5. I think it's 3x that now in my state by law, and in reality it's closer to 4x.

In 2001 I was making $25k per year, which was good middle class money. More than twice minimum wage. Now I hire people to do the same job I did and start them at $75k

Yeah silver above ground is running out. I don't think we're short on the stuff in the ground though. Once it hits and stays above $50-$60 you're gonna see some serious silver mining start. I plan to be right in the middle of it.

The fact we didn't face any pushback already is a miracle. I expected anything but this 2 weeks snib-snab after a massive green dildo.
If $28 can become the new resistance level i'll be happy as it is for now. And since it seems this move upward was triggered by chinese's will to profit from/punish the comex/LBMA tamps, it might very well be the new floor.

What's interesting lately is silver acted on it's own. The moves -beside big international ruckus- seemed completely independant from the usual contrarian asset play. Silver went up when the DXY went up, silver went up when the VIX went down, silver went up when the Q2 previsional industrial indicators went down.
I believe to most of us this indicate the battle shifted elsewhere : US vs China war over PMs' price fixing is also impacting silver now. All we can hope for is for this to be an endurance fight, where the SHGE constantly pay up above London/NYC fixing.
The question is : at what price China is comfortable to see silver settle and then harmonize their spot with the US?
Could be 30, could be 50, could be 70 just to send a message to the jewboys.

I would only debtmax if I knew the market crash was imminent. I would never sell off any part of my stack even if I were paid triple what it cost me. all of those things happened.
In 1890 we mined so much silver that the US dollar fell in value below a quarter.
Since then we've mined so little silver that if we used it for money, a Morgan Dollar would be worth more than a new lamborghini.

these things aren't contradictory, they are both true. We had far too much silver to use as money in 1890, and nowhere near enough now.

gold would go over a million dollars US per ounce, and silver well over $100k.

there simply isn't that much metal out there.
I agree in a SHTF scenario gold and silver will trade as money, but there won't be enough of it so most stuff is going to be straight barter. Unless 90% of the population dies off and global trade stops, in that case we'd be back to 1890, quite literally.

and these are not unreasonable expectations in a complete dollar collapse scenario. It's quite likely that most of the people on earth would die, and global trade would drop to almost nothing. Putting us in a position where metal could again be used as money.

Funnily enough, back in 1880-90 the worldwide silver production was at 80Moz, 1/10th of the current production, and we were overproducing.

But of course back then silver was only used in money, silverware, jewelry and the beginnings of photography. Plus we recently forced China out of their silver standard, who were the main slurpers on earth.

Nowaday, we are on a 200Moz production deficit per annum with 10x the production capacity and not a single oz of silver left in our currencies.

Yes! We've also been coasting for almost a century on the excess produced in the 1800's. That silver didn't disappear just because it wasn't getting used. We sat on it and turned it into coins and pictures and inks for the next 75 years straight. We mined so much we had enough to get us into the industrial age without problem.

also that was the end of silver mines.
almost all of our current production comes from copper and gold mines. Almost nobody is mining straight silver mines. In an economic collapse our silver production will drop to nothing, because nobody is trying to mine it.
