>>20071432I can tell you what causes it but because it's me saying it you'll probably discard it. You see Bluetooth and wifi both utilize the 2.4ghz band and because of them being on the same card they're interfering with each other. Bluetooth uses either the high end or low end and if you have your wifi somewhere in that frequency it's going to interfere. Dell has known about this issue of cards being dual purpose and their close proximity causing interference HOWEVER there's very easy solutions to the problem so it doesn't warrant fixing it.
The easiest solution is to use the 5ghz band that Bluetooth can't utilize. It then separates the two like your parents.
Another is to change your router over to use 802.11(a) or (a)n for wifi.
What do I know about crosstalk though? I'm just a tier 3 technician who works layers 1-5 every day and gets paid for it.
