Use a hand mirror too, repeat the cut a few times, check under different lighting, gp down and back to the front up and normal upper front to lower back
Play with the length lever thing if you think you need it

i've never gone to a barber, i assume they're pretty costly, especially these days
also you have to talk to people

i've been just using a pet clipper with different attachments
i usually cut the sides and back short and leave the top somewhat long, i think it looks normal

yeah i havent been to a barbers in over a decade. you can buy fade thingies if you give that much of a damn about it looking professinal. i bought pic rel, theyre called "blend friend". honestly havent used them though.

i've been cutting / shaving my own hair since i was 18. after 3 years I got really good at it. I am glad I don't pay the hairdresser jew. mostly i just shave it short at one point then let it grow for some time. last time I shaved myself bald and now its 4 years later and have long hair lol. felt like trying long hair before I go bald.
