I've been following the GCP dot (on-and-off) for the last 50 hours or so.
ALMOST the entire time (like 95+% of the time), it has soared ABOVE the red line (usefully hand-drawn by me.)
Since I regularly check out the dot every now and then, I can absolutely say with positive certainty:
I've NEVER seen such behaviour (in particular, the regularity / consistency of its soaring) AND for such a LONG period of time.
Gotta mean something, right !? :O
