>>20128948it very is. lots of small old bakeries in my area, but they mostly make rye+wheat sour bread, but its so good to the point, I dont think any bread other than fermented is bread at all.
theres even German bakery near by, a family of german immigrants. They are good people, the bread is mediocre, the prices are jewish.
